On top of all of this, we found the venue to be very affordable, and Alison is very upfront and transparent about pricing.
The highlights of Cherry Barc Farm compared to other area wedding barns include a competitive price, real bathrooms (stalls, running water, handicap accessibility), farm animals, an outdoor ceremony area (with no tear down required between ceremony and reception), and of course Alison herself! The barn rental comes with tables, wooden chairs, and twinkle lighting already hung, giving a great backdrop for your individual decoration. The outdoor setting is gorgeous, and includes a great location for sunset photos.
I can't sing the praises of this place enough! The ceremony/reception site were so wide open and beautiful. The twinkle lights in the barn made the night romantic. The live animals kept all the guests (especially the little ones!) entertained. Even planning our wedding from Italy was easy because Alison was such a great host. We had our July 2017 wedding (both ceremony and reception) at Cherry Barc Farm. We could not be happier with our choice of venue! Alison (the owner) was so helpful through the whole process, she was always very responsive, and was everywhere on the day keeping things running smoothly.
Cherry Barc Farm was the first and only venue we toured for our wedding! It is so beautiful we fell in love with the place right away. Alison Barc, one of the owners of the property, is extremely flexible, professional, detail-oriented, and gave us great advice every step of the way while planning. They let you bring in your own vendors, so it's possible to control costs and personalize every detail of your event. We also hired Alison to help out the day of the wedding. She went WAY above and beyond. With very little direction (we didn't know what help we would need at the start of the day) she did everything from greeting guests, cleaning up throughout the day, going on a beer run, and even replenishing the bartender's simple syrup with local honey.
If I could give more than 5 stars I most definitely would! Not only is Cherry Barc Farm a gorgeous venue location with the several acres, animals, and more. But also the Coordinator and Owner Alison is amazing! She welcomed everyone with a smile, was polite, down to earth, attentive to detail and knew exactly what she was doing. Besides making sure the wedding day went smoothly, she made sure everyone had everything they needed. As a vendor myself, this is not always the case. I can't stress enough how much of an impact she had on making the wedding day complete! She was more than happy to help no matter what it was. On top of being the event planner, she also decorated the entire barn. Every part of the barn was decorated beautifully and even the outdoor ceremony was rustic, charming and has a beautiful field with flowers behind it. I would highly recommend Cherry Barc Farm!
The owners of the venue were extremely helpful in planning our wedding. The venue is beautiful. Alison helped answered all of my questions and responded very promptly each time I e-mailed her. She set everything up on the day of the wedding per our instructions, and we could not have been happier with how our wedding went. Our friends and family had such a wonderful time, and kept remarking about how beautiful the venue is. We loved everything about Cherry Barc Farm (and there are goats)!!
